a nice stay
friendly hostess local view deep bath tasty breakfast
the breakfast was AMAZING!!! i especially loved the local recommendations. our dogs enjoyed walks around the estate, it was a restful break. i enjoyed the deep bath and the extra touches, such as being able to make a cuppa in the pantry.
the absence of a sink and beverage tray in the room was a minor inconvenience. it would have been useful for quick refreshments without needing to go elsewhere.

bathroom location room cold
the drive up to the house showcased beautiful scenery, exactly as i imagined.
my room felt quite cold at night, even with the radiator on. i also noticed the bathroom, although clean, was located down the hall. this setup wasn't ideal for convenience.

the location was quite good.
the room was not what i expected. the cleanliness was not up to par as there was dust in several areas. also, the bathroom was down the hall, it was not en-suite and this detail was not clear when i booked.
